Mindfulness for Well-Being Series

Are you experiencing overwhelm or living a life that feels out of balance? Do your repeated thoughts seem to keep you stuck in the same mindset? Or do you just have a general feeling that your life approach is not serving you well? This 8 week series is an introduction to Mindfulness and its foundational practice of meditation. We will learn new ways of being with thoughts, emotions, and stress with acceptance, non-judgement, compassion, and gratitude. Learning the attitudes of Mindfulness for well- being can positively impact your relationship with yourself, your thoughts, your emotions, and with others. For a thorough understanding of this life practice and for personal transformation, participants should commit to attending all 8 sessions and a daily at-home practice of 20 minutes. Registration is required as class size is limited.

Janet Lynch has a MS Ed and is a Certified Mindfulness Instructor. She was a classroom teacher for nearly thirty years and taught Mindfulness to faculty and students kindergarten through fourth grade. Since retiring from her school career, Janet has been teaching Mindfulness for Well-being to adults and to those who are cancer survivors.
