Using The MELT® Method hand and foot treatments allow you to experience how easy it is to create change in your body regarding misalignment, chronic pain, and the negative effects associated with aging. Different from going to a therapist for bodywork, MELT empowers people with simple, self-care tools for long-term wellness. We will explore how to reacquire whole-body balance by directly affecting the cellular hydration of the connective tissue matrix using Hands-Off Bodywork™.

About the Instructors: 

Learn from the first Certified MELT® Instructors in the Fort Wayne Area!

Valerie Powers, owner of Powers of One Yoga & Fitness in Roanoke, IN. holds a master’s degree in Kinesiology from CSU Sacramento and is a certified Health and Fitness Instructor with the American College of Sports Medicine, along with a 200 RYT certification through YogaFit. As a personal trainer, yoga instructor, and current professor at the University of Saint Francis in the Nutrition and Kinesiology Department, Valerie is always looking to expand her knowledge of fitness and movement, and recently earned a Level 2 certification in the MELT® Method along with friend and MELT® Method partner, Rebecca Bell. 

Rebecca Bell, owner of Mindful Movements in Fort Wayne, IN. specializes in Pilates, Spin®, Barre and TRX® group classes and personal training. Certified in the Pilates Method through the PhysicalMind® Institute in Highland Park, IL., Rebecca learned hands-on from physical therapists, dancers, and athletes to gain an extensive knowledge of body movement. She is a trained Polestar® Instructor, a certification that focuses on post-rehab with a focus on neurological exercises using the Pilates Method and holds a degree in Cardiac Rehab. Rebecca has made herself a leader in “movement education” in the Fort Wayne area and loves to bring trusted and proven programs like MELT® to her clients. 

Valerie and Rebecca’s shared passion for health, wellness, and fitness along with their extensive education possess the tools and knowledge to help you live your best active and healthy life.
