Slow Flow Vinyasa

Slow Flow is a soft flow of postures while staying connected to the breath while holding the posture or transitioning between postures. This class is perfect for all levels of practitioners as it is excellent for developing and building a grounded yoga practice.

Yoga for Every Body

Open to new and experienced students, this class is truly for Every Body! Students will be guided through postures that are centering and grounding with emphasis on breath and alignment and listening to the body’s wisdom.  Yoga philosophy will be intertwined in each class to help students feel inner peace, relaxation, and a sense of renewal.

Vinyasa or Flow Yoga

Dynamic, active sequences of asanas synchronized with the breath is designed to cultivate a vibrant energy for life and is the foundation for this vinyasa for flow yoga class. Connect the flow of your breath to the flow of your body as we move through a dynamic, active sequence of poses designed to cultivate passion, strength, stamina and power. Pranayama, sun salutations, standing yoga sequences, deep stretching and final relaxation are all integrated into one amazing class designed for all practitioners regardless of yoga experience.

Meditation & Yin

In Yin Yoga, the focus is on exploring and deepening postures that stretch and rehabilitate the connective tissues that form our joints. Postures are held for longer periods of time and done on the floor utilizing props to help the body relax into the postures. Yin Yoga is a perfect complement and balance to a more active yoga practice. It is a gentle, restful class that often includes readings and teachings on the philosophical aspects of yoga.

Men Only Yoga

A vinyasa style class with upbeat (rock and roll music) that is for men only. Provided in an environment that is non-threatening and non-competitive, this class teaches the basics of yoga to help clients strengthen their core, improve flexibility, and increase energy leading to improved overall health. All levels welcome.

Restorative Yoga

Relaxation is a forgotten art.  As a result of everyday demands of life we find ourselves building tension within the body; both physical and mental. Restorative yoga aims to remind us how to release and relax.  Through supported postures we allow the release of muscle tension, embrace the healing properties of the breath, and find balance within our lives by finding relaxation.

Cardio Kickboxing

Cardio Kickboxing is a full-body workout that challenges all major muscle groups.  Participants will improve aerobic capacity, decrease stress, improve athletic endurance, and obtain gains in stability and strength.  In this class, you will learn basic boxing moves such as jabs, uppercuts, cross jabs, and hooks while also working the lower body with knee strikes, front kicks,  and side kicks.  Each class incorporates strength, cardio, and kickboxing segments.  This class may be modified for all levels of fitness.

Bootcamp Fitness

Bootcamp is an indoor and/or outdoor group exercise class that mixes traditional calisthenics and body weight exercises with interval training and strength training.  Each class varies from week-to-week to offer a full variety to attendees.  This class incorporates pushups/situps, various forms of plyometrics, interval training, cardio, and resistance training with little rest between exercises.  Bootcamp routines are used to lose body fat, increase cardiovascular efficiency, and increase strength.  This class may be modified for all levels of fitness.

Yoga for Runners & Fitness Enthusiasts

This is the perfect class for those individuals who are already active – runners, walkers, cyclists, swimmers, weight lifters, and anything in between.  It is also great for those just getting into fitness, or those who are taking a break from their “traditional” workouts.  Fitness enthusiasts will find that participating in yoga classes is the perfect cross-training solution, as yoga poses can help to strengthen, balance, and stretch the body (and the mind).  This can lead to enhanced performance, a reduction in the risk of injury, and reduced recovery time.  So whether new to exercise, or active for years, this class can benefit everyone.

Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga uses asanas (postures) in harmony with the breath to cultivate a balance between our physical, mental, and spiritual bodies. Although an umbrella term, Hatha Yoga is safe enough for beginning practitioners and challenging enough for the experienced yogi. This class incorporates the Iyengar method, pranayama, and philosophy derived from the 8 limb path.

Chair Yoga

Chair yoga is a gentle flow style class utilizing a chair that adapts yoga postures to allow individuals with arthritis, osteoporosis, decreased range of motion, and other health restrictions to enjoy the wonderful benefits of yoga.   Each class begins with deep breathing and a short meditation and progresses throughout class to help improve strength, balance, flexibility, as well as a general sense of calm and peace.

Strength & Length

The first 30 minutes of this class is dedicated to developing upper and lower body strength using body weight, light dumbbells, and exercise bands. The last 30 minutes will be dedicated to deep stretching and lengthening through strategic yoga postures. All levels welcome and encouraged!
